Executioner
I silently await the executioner
to put me out of my pain,
But instead I remain here on death row
while I slowly go insane.
No lethal injection for me
nor gas chamber chair,
Instead I am suffocating
on the hopelessness everywhere!
Perhaps it would be too merciful
to execute me and put me out of my pain,
It is so much more crueler
to sit back and watch me go insane.
