This photo is one of my favorites of my mom. It shows the wonderful, funny side of
her that even Alzheimer's could not take away.
It was taken at the nursing home's Halloween party in 2002.
One of the nurses had put a Winnie the Pooh hat on mom that was from one of her
grandkid's Tigger costumes. I did not want her to take it off after the party,
as you can see!!
I keep a copy of this photo next to my bed and right by my computer.
Whenever I feel sad or lonely all I have to do is look at my Pooh Bear!!
