Remember me within my youth
With soft and supple skin
Youth in life shall always stay
Each day the glow's within

For now in life I turn your head
Though each year you will see
Ravages of times that pass
Will change me drastically

But in my heart I see myself
The way you see me here
Understanding all to well
My changes will appear

Acceptance at each stage of life
That happens through the years
But truly in my heart I'll see
The face that youth reveres

Mirrors may deceive us all
For when we search within
Beauty that was there before
With each new day begins

Through life although uncertain
We're basically the same
It's what we see within ourselves
That hopefully remains.
